The work of Jean Pierre reflects a deep concern for the future of humanity and the planet. He asks: will the supposed human intelligence lead to our downfall? His creations invite reflection on the complexity of the human being and contemporary challenges, as reflected in the forms and themes of his works. Whether he explores the shadow or the light of humanity, Jean Pierre resolutely celebrates life. With his series on butterflies, he invites us to follow the caterpillar’s path. No symbol of transformation is more eloquent than the butterfly. From the egg to the larva, it leaves the safety of its cocoon, spreads its wings in all their splendor and takes flight – this metamorphosis, before our eyes, embodies the hope and new beginnings that it sees for humanity. To the beauty of forms and silhouettes deployed, he added colors to his palette, thus contributing to the enchantment of our senses.
